Ingredients

  • | Salmon fillet skinless, cubed | 500 g |
  • | Olive oil | 1 tbsp |
  • | Paprika | 1 tsp |
  • | Garlic powder | 1 tsp |
  • | Salt | 1/2 tsp |
  • | Black pepper | 1/2 tsp |
  • | Cornstarch optional for crispiness | 1 tbsp |
Bang Bang Sauce
  • | Mayonnaise | 1/2 cup |
  • | Sweet chili sauce | 1/4 cup |
  • | Sriracha | 1–2 tbsp |
  • | Honey | 1 tbsp |
  • | Soy sauce optional | 1 tsp |

Method

  1. Cut salmon into evenly sized 1-inch cubes for even cooking
  2. Pat the salmon dry to help it crisp properly
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  4. Add salmon cubes and gently toss to coat evenly
  5. Optionally add cornstarch for extra crispiness
  6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat or preheat air fryer to 390–400°F
  7. Place salmon in a single layer without overcrowding
  8. Cook for 3–4 minutes without moving to create a crust
  9. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until golden and cooked through
  10. Alternatively, air fry for 6–8 minutes until crispy
  11. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and soy sauce
  12. Stir until smooth and creamy
  13. Toss cooked salmon in half of the sauce or drizzle on top
  14. Reserve extra sauce for serving
  15. Garnish with chopped green onions or herbs
  16. Serve immediately while hot
