Ingredients

  • | Creamy peanut butter | 1 cup |
  • | Protein powder vanilla or unflavored | ¾ cup |
  • | Maple syrup or honey | ⅓ cup |
  • | Dark chocolate chips | ½ cup |

Method

  1. Line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, protein powder, and maple syrup or honey until a thick dough forms.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan using a spatula or the back of a spoon so the base becomes compact and smooth.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the pressed protein base. Refrigerate for about 1 hour until firm, then slice into bars before serving.
