Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts 500 g, diced or sliced
  • 6 slices 180 g bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup 120 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml sour cream
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 cup 100 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup 50 g mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup 75 g diced jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish lightly
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and lightly sear chicken pieces for 3–4 minutes (optional step for extra flavor)
  4. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise
  5. Whisk until smooth and creamy with no lumps
  6. Add garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture
  7. Stir until seasoning is evenly distributed
  8. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese
  9. Add diced jalapeños and half of the crumbled bacon to the mixture
  10. Add chicken to the bowl and mix until fully coated in the creamy sauce
  11. Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish
  12. Spread it out evenly using a spatula
  13. Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top
  14. Add remaining bacon and extra jalapeño slices for garnish
  15. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top
  16. Broil for 2–3 minutes for a crispy cheesy crust
  17. Remove from oven and let rest for 5–10 minutes
  18. Garnish with green onions if desired
  19. Serve warm
