Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish lightly
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside
In the same skillet, add olive oil and lightly sear chicken pieces for 3–4 minutes (optional step for extra flavor)
In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise
Whisk until smooth and creamy with no lumps
Add garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture
Stir until seasoning is evenly distributed
Fold in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese
Add diced jalapeños and half of the crumbled bacon to the mixture
Add chicken to the bowl and mix until fully coated in the creamy sauce
Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish
Spread it out evenly using a spatula
Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top
Add remaining bacon and extra jalapeño slices for garnish
Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top
Broil for 2–3 minutes for a crispy cheesy crust
Remove from oven and let rest for 5–10 minutes
Garnish with green onions if desired
Serve warm
