  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease your baking dish
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chopped bacon until crispy
  3. Remove bacon and place on paper towels, leaving a small amount of fat in the pan
  4. Add olive oil if needed, then add chopped onion and cook until soft
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant
  6. Add ground beef to the skillet and break it apart with a spatula
  7. Cook until fully browned and no pink remains
  8. Drain excess grease from the pan for a cleaner flavor
  9. Add mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
  10. Mix thoroughly to combine all flavors evenly
  11. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly
  12. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and mayonnaise until smooth
  13. Stir half of the shredded cheese into the egg mixture
  14. Transfer the cooked beef mixture into the greased baking dish
  15. Spread evenly to form a base layer
  16. Sprinkle cooked bacon pieces over the beef layer
  17. Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over everything
  18. Top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese
  19. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes
  20. Bake until the center is set and the top is golden and bubbly
  21. Broil for 2–3 minutes if you want a crispy cheesy crust
  22. Remove from oven and allow it to rest for 5–10 minutes
  23. Slice and serve warm
