Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease your baking dish
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chopped bacon until crispy
Remove bacon and place on paper towels, leaving a small amount of fat in the pan
Add olive oil if needed, then add chopped onion and cook until soft
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant
Add ground beef to the skillet and break it apart with a spatula
Cook until fully browned and no pink remains
Drain excess grease from the pan for a cleaner flavor
Add mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
Mix thoroughly to combine all flavors evenly
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and mayonnaise until smooth
Stir half of the shredded cheese into the egg mixture
Transfer the cooked beef mixture into the greased baking dish
Spread evenly to form a base layer
Sprinkle cooked bacon pieces over the beef layer
Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over everything
Top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes
Bake until the center is set and the top is golden and bubbly
Broil for 2–3 minutes if you want a crispy cheesy crust
Remove from oven and allow it to rest for 5–10 minutes
Slice and serve warm
